1. Davis Bertans

This one is the biggest x-factor of them all. But if the Los Angeles Lakers can bring in Dāvis Bertāns, their offensive efficiency could reach historic levels. Bertans is best known for being a 3-point shooter that can pull up from anywhere on the court.

With limited spacing on a bad Washington Wizards team last season he was still very good. He shot a line of 43.4/42.4/85.2 while averaging 15.4 points per game. He did so on an eFG% of 59.8%.

His usage and stats across the board have trended up each season since he began his first three years in San Antonio. He also has a great career shooting line of 44.1/41.1/85.

He dropped out of the bubble restart to make sure he is healthy for the free-agent market. He could possibly get more from another team, but it will be a hit or miss considering he isn’t much of a defender or provide much else.

More than likely he won’t be a Gallinari or Dragić that will possibly sign a one year deal. You’ll have to probably sign Bertans at three years, which would be over $30 million in total. But that would be a steal and LeBron has always thrived with guys of his shooting abilities.

It could be the perfect match, as the market could be up-and-down this offseason as teams prepare for 2021 big free agents. So the Los Angeles Lakers could steal one here with this signing and pair Bertans with AD and LeBron for the next few years.
