2. E’Twaun Moore

E’Twaun Moore is one of the premier shooters on the free-agent market. He has always shot the ball at a high clip and his career has been made by spacing the floor. He doesn’t provide much else to a team, but a career 39% 3-point shooter makes him an attractive target.

But shooting is highly valued in the NBA. LeBron James’s best teams have come from him having guys on the floor that can shoot. He has the best vision of any player in the league and he can put the ball on target anywhere.

This would make Moore lethal in the Lakers offense. As he can pick his spots and know that LeBron will find him. He is a tremendous spot up and catch and shoot 3-point shooter. He doesn’t have to change his game at all to come to Los Angeles.

The Lakers finished 21st in the league last year in shooting the 3-pointer. The team made it at a 34.7% clip. This is something they will need to improve on as the guys they brought in last offseason did not get the job done.

Moore’s value on the market could be robust due to him not being a good defender. But the Lakers can mask that making him a perfect fit for the team.

He doesn’t provide much long term which makes the bi-annual exception of one or two years perfect. Some experts believe his price range is anywhere between $3 and $4 million.

Lakers could be players here.
