2. He has playoff experience
Although Harkless is young, he has plenty of experience in the playoffs, which would bode well for this Los Angeles Lakers team.
In four seasons with the Trail Blazers from 2014-15 to 2018-19, he appeared in the playoffs each year, and he got past the first round of the playoffs twice.
Just a year ago, he and his teammates were facing off against the mighty Warriors for the Western Conference championship and a spot in the 2019 NBA Finals.
This means that Harkless won’t be afraid of or be in awe of the big moments or the big stage.
As James gets closer and closer to truly challenging Michael Jordan’s consensus status as the GOAT, I’m sure he’ll want any newcomers to the Lakers to be made for the big moments and the big stage.
Harkless isn’t exactly a newbie to the NBA Playoffs, and therefore the Lakers should be able to rely on him to perform when they need him to most.
