Lakers cards worth collecting: Derek Fisher rookie card

Though Derek Fisher closed out his career elsewhere, the first team that comes to mind when you think of him is the Los Angeles Lakers. A five-time NBA Champion with the Purple and Gold, Fisher was an integral part of the team’s success in both the late 90s and as the first decade of the 2000s was wrapping up.

Fisher is fifth in games played, second in 3-pointers made, and seventh in steals in Lakers history.

Lucky for Lakers fans, because of how underrated he is by the NBA world in general and because he was never much of a scorer (scorers tend to sell the highest in terms of basketball cards) his rookie card is extremely attainable.

Derek Fisher rookie card: Here is what is presently available on eBay

This PSA-10 Finest Bronze rookie card went for just $20.50 on eBay.

A more rare Refractor (but PSA-9) version of the card went for about $50, but just look at how beautiful it is. Probably worth the price if you’re a big D-Fish fan and want to add his rookie to your collection.
