3. Lakers get Monte Morris

The Nuggets were sent into the offseason by the team they’re making a trade with here. The Lakers dominated the Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals and then went on to win the NBA championship.

The Nuggets lacked wing defenders to help keep up with the Lakers. So here is a trade that they can get a guy to help them on the wing and give up a scorer in Monte Morris. The Nuggets have plenty of scoring so they can afford to make this deal to help shore up their defense.

With two cornerstones in Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic, the team is ready to contend for a while. Bradley can come in and do the dirty work and the team can look to also resign Jerami Grant this offseason.

Morris shot a line of 45.9/37.8/84.3 last year and provided a good little spark for the Nuggets. So he can come in and be good off the bench for the Lakers. He has good ball-handling abilities to help soften the blow if Rajon Rondo departs.

Nuggets also can generate a small trade exception here of around $3.5 million. Small trade could benefit both teams.
