3. Los Angeles Clippers

The Los Angeles Clippers have some things to figure out this offseason. The team already answered the biggest question of the offseason in finding a new head coach, hiring Tyronn Lue, who was an assistant last season.

There are more question marks, though. The team is in the market for a point guard and should be in the market for a center as well. Ivica Zubac is great, but he is the only traditional center on the roster and that showed in the NBA Playoffs.

Montrezl Harrell is a fine bench center but there is a fairly good chance that he will find a new home next season. Harrell is an unrestricted free agent and the Sixth Man of the Year will get some lucrative contract offers — it will be a matter of if Harrell gives the Clippers a hometown discount.

The Clippers do have Bird Rights, though, making it more likely that he re-signs.

Regardless, the Clippers would absolutely benefit from having a traditional center off the bench that can help with depth during the regular season while also helping match up against bigger teams, like the Los Angeles Lakers.

This might be a new era of NBA basketball but you still need some size off the bench. Howard absolutely is better than Joakim Noah, who the Clippers signed on the buyout market.

Next. Trade options if Avery Bradley opts-in. dark

Howard gives them a cheap option and if the Los Angeles Lakers cannot re-sign Dwight Howard then perhaps he stays in LA and joins the dark side. Time will tell.
