1. Derrick Rose

Derrick Rose is one of the more prominent names connected to the Los Angeles Lakers this offseason and was a player that the team was reportedly interested in trading for before the NBA Trade Deadline.

The Lakers probably would have to throw in more on top of the pick to secure Rose’s services. While some fans might disagree with this, packaging Kyle Kuzma and the first-round pick for Rose and a future second would be a good trade for the Lakers.

Rose would replace Rajon Rondo in the rotation as the secondary ballhandler, which could be needed more than initially thought as Rondo opted out of his player option. While Rondo was fantastic in the NBA Playoffs, Rose was still easily the better player in the regular season last season.

Rose only has one more year under contract so he does not hurt the team’s future prospects and the Pistons do not have a ton of leverage because of it.

The former MVP averaged 18.1 points, 5.6 assists and 2.4 rebounds in an average of 26 minutes per game last season. Rose is the best player on this list as the 28th pick is not that valuable on the trade market.
