2. Victor Oladipo

Victor Oladipo has not been directly connected to the Los Angeles Lakers but there is a lot of speculation that he is going to be traded from the Indiana Pacers this offseason. Oladipo only has one more year left on his deal and it has become quite clear that he is not going to be a Pacer in the long-term.

Oladipo reportedly asked opponents during the NBA bubble, in front of his teammates, if he could come and play with them. Again, it is quite clear that his tenure in Indiana is over and he absolutely is someone who fits on the Lakers.

There are concerns around his health as he has not really been healthy the last two seasons. However, we know that when he is at full strength he is one of the best two-way guards in the entire league. His defense alone makes him very intriguing.

Oladipo can be a great third option on the offensive side of the court that can create his own shot as well as be an outlet option for LeBron James. He is not a sharpshooter, but he can heat up from beyond the arc as well.

His defense is the really intriguing thing, still. At his best, Oladipo is an All-Defensive First Team player and on the Lakers, with Frank Vogel’s coaching, he would be truly special.
