2. Danilo Gallinari

One would think that Danilo Gallinari would not be a viable option for the Los Angeles Lakers; however, the veteran forward has mentioned that winning a ring is his number one priority this free agency. With that in mind, the Lakers may have a chance in acquiring the elite scorer.

Gallinari is an exceptional scorer, which is something that the Lakers lacked last season outside of LeBron James and Anthony Davis. With Dennis Schroder on the way, Rob Pelinka can really pack on the scoring punch by signing Danilo Gallinari.

Having both Schroder and Gallinari in the lineup would limit defenses from being able to double team James and Davis. Knowing that there are additional scoring threats off of the bench could also allow coach Frank Vogel to give his two superstars a few more minutes of rest.

Things aren’t all roses with Gallinari, however. He can be a severe liability on the defensive end. He refuses to use his size to limit his opponents and appears at times to lack the drive to even try. If the Lakers were to bring on Danilo Gallinari, he would only be a sliver of what Danny Green was defensively.
