1. Courtney Lee

If the Los Angeles Lakers are serious about getting some shooting help and want someone who can also hold their own on defense, here is option one. Courtney Lee has been a very good shooter in his career and also isn’t a liability on defense like the others.

He has finished with a positive DBPM and positive defensive win shares most of his career. He has played on some good teams and has 518 career starts under his belt. He would be the perfect option for the Lakers to spread the floor and can play with Schröder and Harrell while LeBron and AD rest.

He is a career 38.8% 3-point shooter with 876 career makes. He can come off screens and shoot or he can spot up. He is a veteran that can help this team and isn’t a candidate to get a long-term deal.

Lee has turned his career into over $74 million in earnings. Coming off a large contract he could be a good candidate to get a small deal. The value he would provide this team if they could get him on the veteran minimum would be enormous.

Out of all three options, if the Lakers had a choice, this would be the one.
