2. The duo of Montrezl Harrell and Dennis Schroder

The Los Angeles Lakers are the best team in the league because of their two dynamic duos. The team has the best superstar duo in the league in LeBron James and Anthony Davis and also has the best duo in the league in Dennis Schroder and Montrezl Harrell.

There are rumblings that Schroder will start in the Los Angeles Lakers lineup and he probably will in tonight’s preseason game. However, the Lakers will get the most out of Schroder and Harrell as joint sixth men.

This partnership is really exciting. I am just imagining the pick and rolls and the pure athleticism advantage that the Lakers’ bench is going to have.

This is essentially a better version of Harrell and Lou Williams. Schroder is more of a facilitator than Williams and is a far better defensive player (it is not even close). The hope is that Harrell can be better defensively in a better defensive system with the Lakers.

The hope is that Schroder and Harrell can develop early chemistry with each other and that it starts to shine against the Los Angeles Clippers. In a perfect world, I would love to see these two in transition a few times and maybe even see some lobs against the team that was previously dubbed lob city.
