February 10th vs. Oklahoma City Thunder: Win (22-4)

Part two. The Lakers will refuse to split against a team they should beat. I know I’m handing the Lakers a lot of wins here, but they should legitimately win all of these games. I’m not being unreasonable, am I?

February 12th vs. Memphis Grizzlies: Win (23-4)

After starting the season series by splitting against the Memphis Grizzlies, the Lakers will win the third game and extend their winning streak to 11 games.

February 14th @ Denver Nuggets: Loss (23-5)

The Lakers’ 11-game winning streak will get snapped. The Nuggets are always tough to play when they are at their home arena and the Lakers are bound to lose a couple. The Nuggets are a great team and they showed how they matched up with the Lakers as they pushed the Lakers to a six-game series.

February 16th @ Minnesota Timberwolves: Win (24-5)

I’m predicting the Timberwolves to fall to the Lakers when LA plays them on the road and I’m predicting them to fall when the Lakers play them on their home turf. Is it time for the Lakers to get another winning streak going?

February 18th vs. Brooklyn Nets: Win (25-5)

This will absolutely be a tough game for the Lakers, but from top to bottom, the Nets really are not that amazing. Kyrie Irving is a great player and KD is a generational talent. James Harden joining the team might change this assessment, but the Lakers should still win this one by a comfortable 5-7 points.
