3 Players the Los Angeles Lakers should have signed over Quinn Cook
Pau Gasol
While Pau Gasol has worn many different teams’ uniforms over the course of his illustrious career, most fans across the World remember Pau as a Los Angeles Laker.
The missing piece of the puzzle that allowed the Lakers to go back to back and give the late great Kobe Bryant his 4th and 5th Championships.
Pau was loved by all of Lakersnation not just for his play on the floor but for how he treated people and his kindness to fans.
In recent times, in the wake of the devastating loss of Kobe and Gianna Bryant, Pau has stepped up in a big way and has been there for the Bryant family through unfathomably difficult times.
That speaks volumes to him as a man. Pau is truly a gentle giant and the world of basketball is incredibly thankful and grateful to have an ambassador such as Gasol.
While Gasol is no longer All-Star Gasol, there are still some special moments in him yet.
A legit 7-footer, Gasol is incredibly skilled for his size.
Capable of banging down low and beating his man with an array of post moves, as well as stepping out to the 3-point line and draining shots, Gasol still has the ability to cause opposing teams problems on a nightly basis.
While his minutes have dropped drastically over the last number of years due to him getting up there in age (Currently 40 years old), Gasol deserves one last rodeo.
The Los Angeles Lakers and its fans would be grateful if his last ride is with the purple and gold.
Hopefully, the Lakers can bring in Pau with its 15th roster spot that will become available later in the season.
Seeing Pau retire as a Laker just feels right. Here is hoping the Lakers can make it happen.
