Marc Gasol is going to be a nightmare for Lakers opposing big men!

Kuzma’s and Horton-Tucker’s ability to move off the ball will be very valuable with a pass-first center in Marc Gasol. The chemistry between Gasol and numerous players on the floor was very evident on Sunday night.

Lake Show Life will take you inside the Spectrum SportsNet studios where Derek Fisher shows numerous examples and breaks it down.

If you look at the box scores alone, it would look like Gasol had a pedestrian game only scoring 6 points and grabbing 4 rebounds. But it was the 5 assists that he doled out to cutting Lakers players that should have Lakers faithful excited. Think about it. Most basketball pundits analyzed the acquisition by stating he was a big man that could shoot 3 point shots to spread the floor.

They overlooked his ability to make the right reads and make good passes to players cutting backdoor for easy baskets. Oh, he can throw pretty good alley-oop passes from the top of the key to a certain power forward too.

Gasol’s passing will create offense for the Lakers in big games. Lake Show Life was very critical of Dennis Schroder and his playmaking abilities in the first preseason game. Well, Frank Vogel definitely has options if that type of performance happens during the regular season.

There was another front line player that did work in this game. He started a little slow but ended the game the same way as he did on Friday. Playing hard! Read on to see who this was.
