Anthony Davis was efficient and smooth. But that’s why the Lakers handed him a max deal, right?

What really matters: Anthony Davis did not get hurt in this game! We could stop here, but there is a word limit for pages here at Lake Show Life.

Okay, there are probably two or three basketball players in the world that keep up with this guy. Sadly for the Phoenix Suns, they have none on their roster.

Like LeBron, AD had his issues with fatigue and timing. He missed a few defensive rotations. But when Davis got locked in, the Suns couldn’t run their offense without seeing AD’s defensive eclipse. In 18 minutes, Davis had 10 points (3-4 shooting!), 4 rebounds and a block.

Get used to this.

The Los Angeles Lakers wore the NBA out in fastbreak points last year. LeBron James led the NBA in assists last year just making passes like this to AD. Now it seems that Marc Gasol wants to join the party this year.

Just like LeBron, this was a light aerobics class for AD. His skillset is borderline unfair at this point. Now it seems that he’s gotten stronger in the short offseason. Lakers fans, barring injury or COVID-19, the NBA has no answer for this guy. This includes the Milwaukee Bucks and the Brooklyn Nets.

Los Angeles Clippers? Forget it.

Shaquille O’Neal always talks about the others being very important. Let’s honor the “Big Legend” by talking about them. Read on to see how “The others” did while discussing a major issue.
