4. The new additions to the Los Angeles Lakers

The new additions to the Los Angeles Lakers showed a lot of promising signs in the preseason. Rob Pelinka did a great job of adding fresh new talent to the team and we are even more excited now than we previously were about these new faces.

Montrezl Harrell is so fun to watch. He gives 110% effort in any instances and he is going to be a menace on this team. Right when you think you are getting a break with AD or LeBron off the court, nope, here comes Trezz to bully you down low.

He has been good in this preseason and the fire he is going to bring off the bench is going to be great for this team.

Wesley Matthews has not done much in the preseason but man am I still excited to watch him play. He only shot 28.6% from three in his limited attempts but his ability to step up and replace Danny Green as the team’s primary wing is very exciting.

I am stoked about Marc Gasol. Gasol, again, did not fill up the box score but he provides so much versatility to the center position that it did not previously have while also providing the same rebounding and shot-blocking prowess.

Dennis Schroder is the only player that was not absolutely fantastic when he did play (he only played two games because of a sore ankle) but even then, I really like the potential of Schroder as the bench point guard that can score 15-20 a night consistently.

All in all, it is hard to not get excited about the new players on the Los Angeles Lakers.
