#1: Kyle Korver

The final veteran player that the Los Angeles Lakers should be targeting is Kyle Korver. Korver is one of the best three-point shooters that the game has ever seen. He currently sits at 4th on all-time made threes over a career.

Korver is a player that can stretch the floor for the Lakers which is something that is necessary of a role player when they are a part of the LeBron James-led team.

With Korver on the court, defenders would be forced to stick to him rather than sagging and helping off to guard someone like LeBron when he is driving to the basket. If that defender does help onto LeBron, he has the passing vision to hit a wide-open Korver for a three-point attempt that he converts 42.9% of the time throughout his career.

Along with this, Korver has already played with LeBron for three seasons during their shared time with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was apart of two finals appearances with James. With this much time spent on the court together, Korver knows what it takes to play alongside James and what his role on the team would be.

A major downside of Korver is that he is a very weak defender and with his age, it will be very difficult for him to keep up with much more athletic guards. Along with this, he began suffering injuries during his season with the Milwaukee Bucks.
