The Los Angeles Lakers miss you the fans! Plus they have a plan to get you back at Staples!

The Los Angeles Lakers have their rings, but they are waiting on the fans to show the championship banner. Until COVID-19 is controlled, the Staples Center stays closed to the fans. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has a PSA airing now on what people need to do to help fight this virus.

Sure LeBron James and the rest of the Lake Show want to see you in the seats because you do matter, but this is bigger than basketball. Please adhere to the guidelines laid out in this video. Wear a mask and practice the social distancing like the scientists have been begging for months.

No one wants anyone or their family members to die from this virus or not be able to enjoy the experience of watching a championship team in a loud arena. If the Lakers are your motivation, cool. Use it to do the right thing.

Finally…it was mentioned in the early post-game, but it needs to be mentioned again.

The TNT broadcasting crew mentioned in an earlier game that Marc Gasol gave $10,000 to the family of Michael “Speedy” Edwards, a member of Grizzlies TV crew for funeral expenses. Edwards passed while losing his battle with COVID-19. Marc Gasol showed a lot of class helping out a Grizzlies employee the way he did.

Rest In Peace to Mr. Edwards and prayers sent to his family and friends from Lake Show Life.

Lake Show Life is extending it’s post-game coverage this season! There will be a short post-game report shortly after the game in addition to the extended post-game of Lake Show Life Lessons!

More championship coverage for championship fans.
