The Los Angeles Lakers exposed Giannis Antetokounmpo’s weaknesses for the elite teams!

Reading the headline above, it looks like a certain Los Angeles Lakers website is going the “Homer” route. That is furthest from the truth. Lake Show Life Lessons calls it like it is seen.

From the outside, the fact that Giannis is the two-time NBA MVP, the Defensive Player of the Year and the most dominant player in the NBA makes this analysis unwarranted. Nope. The Los Angeles Lakers showed the Greek Freak he is not ready for championship contention.

They took his greatest strength (Aggressive drives to the basket!) and his weaknesses (Shooting!) and drove him crazy in this game. He started out the game hitting his first four shots.

After that, the Lakers contained him.

The Lakers set up a wall to the basket and dared him to shoot the ball. Boy did it work. Bad mid-range shots and offensive fouls being drawn by numerous Lakers defenders, got into Giannis’ head and the Bucks offense grinded to a halt.

The numbers are very hollow despite Giannis scoring 25 points. The Lakers forced him into 9 turnovers and a seat on the bench after fouling out.

Going forward, the Los Angeles Lakers have figured out a way to deal with the Greek Freak if they meet Milwaukee in the NBA Finals.  Frank Vogel outcoached Mike Budenholzer in preparations and adjustments. They forced the Bucks back into their old habits that cost them in their last two playoff runs.

The Milwaukee Bucks came into this game leading the NBA in offensive efficiency and fastbreak points. The Lakers locked up both for the most part in the second half. It all started with making Giannis Antetokounmpo work.
