LeBron James passed Luke Doncic in the MVP race on this Los Angeles Lakers road trip!
Lake Show Life fun fact: This writer has already made the prediction that Luka Doncic will win the MVP this year. It does not matter how well LeBron is playing.
Luka Doncic is the darling of the NBA. Plus he is holding up his end of the bargain, averaging 27.3 points, 9.8 rebounds and 9.9 assists. When a broadcasting crew talks about him, they will round this up to a triple double.
If the Dallas Mavericks somehow get in the playoffs, he will get the trophy the same way Russell Westbrook did a few years ago. Discussing how all of this works is a different article.
Now let’s talk reality. All that was stated above was legit up to this moment right here!
Since that moment when that Cleveland executive got on LeBron’s nerves, he’s been in a zone. He ran the Cavs off the floor basically by himself and most wondered if the “zone” would travel to Philadelphia.
The King scored 34 points (12-22 shooting, 2-5 from distance!), 6 rebounds and 6 assists. As amazing as this stat line is, it does not compare to the floor game he had running the offense during the Lakers’ run in the last four minutes.
He set up numerous plays for his teammates featuring Kentavious Caldwell-Pope’s only 3 point shot of the game and Anthony Davis’ layup for the lead before Tobias Harris ended things.
Lake Show Life knows based on LeBron’s performance he is the top MVP candidate. Why? What he’s doing, no one else has done before.
Oldest players to average at least 25 points, 7rebounds and 7 assists in a season:

In other LeBron James news…this will be a play that will be the talk of the NBA on Thursday.
While Joel Embiid was up in the air going for a dunk, LeBron pushed in the front while Marc Gasol pushed him in the back. Embiid, who already sat out the previous game with back soreness, fell squarely on his back. LeBron received a flagrant one foul and stayed in.
After the game, Joel thought James should have been tossed and if the roles were switched, he knew he would have gotten ejected. This is a story that Lake Show Life will be watching closely in the next day or so.
Lakers fans, Anthony Davis was lumbering at times during the game. Even though his basket put the Lakers in the lead, he is struggling.
Read on to see what Anthony Davis did for the Los Angeles Lakers and what’s wrong with him.
