If it wasn’t for LeBron James this game would have going on while the Super Bowl was being played!

Sidebar for a message to LeBron James from Lake Show Life: Thank you and please enjoy the Super Bowl and all of the commercials.

To be honest, it didn’t look this game would ever end. After blowing a 19 point lead, it looked like the early post game would have to be scrapped and overhauled. Then LeBron bailed the Lakers, it’s fanbase AND all of the Lakers post game writers out with just one shot…ONE!

LeBron James always seemed to be around to save the Lakers from potential disaster throughout the game. He finished with 33 points (13-26 shooting!), 11 assists, 5 rebounds and 4 steals. He had 7 turnovers in the game, but this writer will defend every last one of them vehemently. Why?

Because coming down the stretch in the second overtime, LeBron had 8 points in the second overtime and he hit that shot to win the game. He even had a dream that he was playing in the Super Bowl with this deep post pass to Talen Horton-Tucker.

LeBron James has now scored 25 points or more in 801 games in his career adding some distance to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s 793. This just in to Lake Show Life…LeBron James is a great basketball player. That’s it.

Anthony Davis was invisible on offense at times in the Denver game. LeBron and the Los Angeles Lakers coaching staff made sure the spotlight was on him to start this one. Not only did his aggressive play lead to a hot start, it opened up offensive options for the entire team. Read on to see what we are talking about.
