Montrezl Harrell filled Anthony Davis’ role about as best as anyone could on the Los Angeles Lakers roster!

The Los Angeles Lakers needed support for LeBron James and thankfully Montrezl Harrell provided some throughout the night. When Harrell got his bearings together, he played lights out.

He was the first Laker in double figures knocking down his first five shots (Remember the game LeBron James had!) on his way to 21 points (9-14 shooting!), 8 rebounds, 2 steals and a block.

The Los Angeles Lakers were basically sleepwalking in the first quarter with sloppy play before Harrell entered the game. This play here really got the Lakers untracked.

The energy this guy plays with is ridiculous. This play right here is underrated because his dunk came just before the end of the first quarter at the buzzer. Think this basket wasn’t important say about two hours later?

Harrell’s presence was huge for the Los Angeles Lakers. He led the team in plus/minus ratio with +15 and he showed professionalism by playing his heart out after spending most of the important minutes of the Detroit game on the bench.

The Lakers had a huge void to fill with Anthony Davis not playing. Montrezl Harrell’s contributions really helped LeBron out.

While Harrell played well basically the whole game, this player waited to flip the switch about three minutes left in the game and carried the momentum into overtime. Read on to see how Lake Show Life’s most polarizing player did in this game and why the comment section is divided.
