Dennis Schroder’s performance is an illustration of Lake Show Life’s season debate of his play!
At times, the debates in the comment section can be more entertaining than these post-game reports. Some readers have become weary of Lake Show Life’s criticisms of Dennis Schroder’s play. While watching the game, some might have been screaming at the television waiting for Schroder to improve just to avoid another page of criticism.
Fast forward to three minutes left in the game at 97-93…
Up until the three-minute mark, Dennis Schroder checked every box of inefficient and sloppy play available. He was terrible. With the Thunder guards both having huge games (Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: 29 points and Hamidou Diallo: 20 points), the Schroder supporters had to be working overtime (No pun intended!) to put forth a defense.
After, the three-minute mark, he was one of the reasons that the Lakers went on a huge run to get the Lake Show into overtime (Okay besides the KCP foul!). Dennis went into a zone on both ends of the floor. The block on Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s layup was the crowning highlight of how well he played at this point of the game.
Dennis Schroder filled the box score with 19 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists with a steal and a block. More importantly, he played in control in overtime and noticed the LeBron James mismatch in the post and gave him the ball to carve up the tired Thunder defense.

After a game like this, the Dennis Schroder debate will carry on. The inconsistency of Dennis’ game will cause debates to eventually go further than this platform to other media outlets. There are so many examples of why the Lakers want to lock him up in a long-term deal. There are also examples of why the Lakers should let his contract expire and spend the money in other ways.
If the Lakers can get some consistency from this guy, there will be unity back to Lake Show Life complaining about Marc Gasol.
What Montrezl Harrell started from the Lakers bench continued until the end of the game. Read on to see how a player that was modeling Lakers warmup gear in a layup line helped put the game to rest.
