When LeBron James got upset, the Los Angeles Lakers ran the Grizzlies out of the Staples Center!

In this era that social media is all the rage, trollers have become a part of everyday society. You know, the less talented or qualified types that always have something to say to the ones that are very accomplished in their fields. It happens in politics, the media and particularly sports. Usually, those that participate in the practice get exposed and end up looking ridiculous.

It seems that the people who feel the need to try this on LeBron James either have been under a rock for the last 18 years or need to pay the cable bill and invest in NBA League Pass. How many times do folks want to try this guy?

  • There was the Cleveland Cavaliers executive that got out of his seat clapping over LeBron’s miss at the end in the third quarter. The aftermath? He dropped 21 points in the 4th quarter and outscored the Cleveland team by himself.
  • How about Courtside Karen? She described herself standing up for her man screaming at LeBron in Atlanta. The aftermath? Not only did LeBron go crazy in the 4th quarter to lead the Lakers to victory, Courtside Karen became an overnight sensation (For the wrong reasons!) by getting kicked out and ended up apologizing soon afterward.
  • The star of this episode of “Messing with LeBron” is Dillon Brooks…

LeBron James and Dillon Brooks exchanged pleasantries earlier this season in Memphis when Dillon Brooks hit a layup under the basket knocking LeBron to the floor. He then stood over him yelling “AND ONE!”. Then LeBron took him to school methodically smoking him in crunch time. That’s how things started.

Here’s how things ended!

Up until the third quarter of this game, LeBron wasn’t really putting numbers. Then Dillon Brooks went to the bench with his third foul. He must have said something because LeBron was heard saying “Let me get him…let me get him”.

After that LeBron got laser eye focused and felt the need to give Dillon Brooks more attention. A lot more attention…He tried to end Brooks here.

Before LeBron decided to calm down and chop it up with ESPN’s play by play guy Richard Jefferson, he dropped a stat line of 28 points (9-15 shooting!), 9 rebounds, 8 assists and 2 steals. When Dillon was quiet, Memphis was ahead.

After LeBron decided to express himself, the Lakers were ahead by the end of the quarter with a 14-2 run fueled by “The King”. He continued his hot streak in the 4th quarter scoring 9 of the Lakers 12 points at one stretch.

Then LeBron felt the need to send a message to anyone that wants to try talking to him without G-14 classification in the future.

Makes you wonder what Dillon Brooks was thinking leaving LeBron James to guard Marc Gasol at the 3 point line. Here’s an extra Lake Show Life Lesson for the NBA going forward whether you are a fan, executive or player…

Leave LeBron James alone. The consequences could be the difference between winning by 20 points or losing by ten.

In LeBron’s continuance to rewrite every record in the NBA record books, here’s yet another one. This is his 27th straight game of having at least 15+ points, 5+ rebounds and 5+ assists. That ranks third all-time. The top two?

  • LeBron James with 30 straight.
  • Oscar Robinson with 29 straight.

In NBA other news, LeBron James is a great basketball player.

If LeBron James wasn’t busy embarrassing Dillon Brooks for running his mouth or if Anthony Davis wasn’t wrecking the Memphis Grizzlies with his brilliance, this player probably would have been mentioned much sooner. But he did his thing as well. Read on to see who this player is.
