Was Lake Show Life more prepared for the Utah Jazz than the Los Angeles Lakers?

Lake Show Life was a little rough on Frank Vogel and his rotations in the Washington Wizards Lessons report. We don’t hide, read it again. Then read two major snippets below.

"However, it is the NBA coach’s job to find the right combinations to work from game to game. Frank Vogel has been lackluster lately and it goes far beyond the Montrezl Harrell minutes that is a crime within itself. No Schroder, no AD and a three-game losing streak. What does Frank Vogel have to lose here?"

The Lake Show Life staff takes no responsibility with Frank Vogel putting Talen Horton-Tucker and Markieff Morris in the starting lineup. Neither will we be accountable for a Jared Dudley sighting. A sight that had one of our readers Slick laughing…

Slick:

"What!!! Tucker starts and Jared makes a 1st quarter appearance? Ron…I think Vogel is reading your work! LOL!"

Hopefully, these articles do help out the Los Angeles Lakers (PSST! Call Me!), but Utah came into this game on fire and hasn’t lost a home game in over a calendar year (Granted the bubble ties into this but find another team that can make that claim!).

Outside of Nikola Jokic scoring 50 points for Denver and the Paul George/Kawhi Leonard combinations helping their teams SLIDE by the Jazz, they could have run the table.

The Los Angeles Lakers had to know Utah was coming into this game melting NBA basketballs with their hot hands from behind the arc. All of those guys can shoot. It started in the Charlotte game and the Lakers got some of the gas too.

The Utah Jazz set a franchise record for 3 pointers in a half with 14 before halftime. 14-23 from the land of the extra point is ridiculous for an entire game much less in the first 24 minutes of any NBA game! They finished with 22 makes with a percentage of 45.8 percent.

Watching the Jazz highlights, pay particular attention to THT getting lost in the paint on numerous occasions. In what world do you start a guard with limited NBA experience to matchup against the best offense in the NBA?

Markieff Morris has to be showcased for a trade so that is what this writer is going to with to explain why he started. Nothing else. Kyle Kuzma shouldn’t have benched and the staff is thinking about selling “Give Montrezl Harrell more minutes” T-shirts for $19.95.

The Los Angeles Lakers believe that Dennis Schroder will cure up most of the defensive troubles. Lake Show Life disagrees. Read on to see why!
