3. Golden State Warriors

Just as a basketball fan there is no team to me that would be more interesting for Blake Griffin than the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors are a team that I have been eye-balling for a Griffin trade as they had the big contract in Andrew Wiggins to flip if Griffin increased his trade value.

He never did and now he could be a potential buyout target for the Warriors, who could use all of the depth that they could get. And if there is any team that is going to make the most out of Griffin, it is the Warriors.

Griffin would be a really interesting fit on this team, especially if he gets hot from beyond the arc and benefits from the off-ball movement and space created by Stephen Curry. It is not too much of a position log-jam either as Draymond Green serves more as the point-forward for the team.

If there is any team in the league that can unlock the best version of Griffin right now, whatever that might be, I think it is the Golden State Warriors. They are not true NBA title contenders but perhaps Griffin would look at this as a multiple-year destination and once Klay Thompson returns they should be right back in the mix.
