Greatest Lakers of all time: 48- Archie Clark
- 2 seasons, 157 games
- 15.4 points per game
- 3.6 assists per game
Archie spent his first two NBA seasons with the Lakers in the mid-60s after being drafted in the fourth round. He left the team when he was included in the package of players traded for Wilt Chamberlain.
He was especially effective in his second year when, often alongside Jerry West in the backcourt, Clark averaged just under 20 points and 4.4 assists and was selected for the All-Star team.
Archie was known for his “shake and bake” moves driving to the hoop. He primarily played point guard but was just as effective off the ball.
