Greatest Lakers of all time: 44- Julius Randle

  • 4 seasons, 238 games
  • 13.5 points
  • 8.9 rebounds

This might be another possible surprise for some readers, but Randle ranks 28th all-time in Lakers PPG, 13th in rebounds and 43rd in career points. Among Laker power forwards, he ranks 7th in PPG and 6th in RPG.

After missing his entire rookie season with a broken leg, he improved his scoring average each year. He was particularly effective in his final season with LA while also leading in RPG and shooting 55.8% from the field.

Even though he posted those excellent numbers, the Lakers let their #7 pick from 2014 walk away for nothing in free agency. He signed with New Orleans where he experienced greater success before moving to the Knicks, where he was just named to the All-Star team for the first time.
