2. Aaron Gordon to the Denver Nuggets

The Denver Nuggets are the NBA team that is not getting enough love. If there is a single team that could go on a Miami Heat-like run and make the NBA Finals then it is the Nuggets. Yes, that even means that they could defeat the Los Angeles Lakers in a seven-game series.

The Nuggets have the MVP front-runner in Nikola Jokic, who somehow is not getting the love he deserves as well. Many view Jokic as the default MVP because of Joel Embiid and LeBron James’ injuries but that is not it at all. Jokic has been absolutely fantastic this season.

Jamal Murray is starting to look more like the bubble version of himself, Michael Porter Jr. is one year better and the team went out and got Orlando’s Aaron Gordon, which was a great addition for the team.

Let’s be honest: Gordon is essentially replacing what the team lost in Jerami Grant. The Lakers beat the Nuggets with Grant last season. However, that does not take away from the fact that the Nuggets undoubtedly got better and added a great scoring presence to the roster.

Gordon is one of those players that is a bit overrated and at this point of his career, he is who he is. However, he is over-qualified still to be the fourth scoring option in the starting lineup, which is exactly what he is in Denver.

The Nuggets now have a quartet of Jokic, Murray, Porter and Gordon that can score a combined 75-80 points on any given night.
