Biggest threats to the Los Angeles Lakers: #2: Milwuakee Bucks

The second team that could stop a Los Angeles Lakers finals run is the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks are a team that has had disappointing postseason runs in the past few seasons.

However, this could be the year that they breakthrough. Although the Eastern Conference will be the toughest it has ever been since Giannis Antetokounmpo has taken off as an MVP candidate.

With the addition of Jrue Holiday to the roster, the Bucks now have three All-Star candidate players on their roster.

When pairing this with the elite three-point shooting that comes from their role players, the Bucks can be a very dangerous team if they hit a hot streak in the playoffs.

One of the only things that are holding them back from a Finals run is their coaching. While Mike Budenholzer is a great coach, his decision-making tends to take a dip during the playoffs.

The major concern is that he is far too conservative when the games mean the most. There were a handful of games in which Budenholzer had Antetokounmpo on a minutes restriction during the second round of the playoffs.

If he learns from his past mistakes, the Bucks could give the Lakers a run for their money if they meet up in the NBA Finals.
