So it takes a Lake Show Life feature to get Dennis Schroder inspired these days?

Dennis Schroder brought some excitement to Lake Show Life in the comment section with an article declaring the Lakers should find some options in the offseason to get rid of the point guard.

So a Lake Show Life feature describing ways for the Lakers to get rid of Schroder inspires him to play with some act right? Anybody else not playing well? If this keeps up, the Lakers will win in four.

After a week of subpar games that was sandwiched with an awful effort against the Clippers and a putrid 2-12 performance in Miami, Dennis the Menace scored 16 points on 6-7 shooting before the lights warmed up in the Barclays Center. He finished with 19 points.

Dennis’ game goes way past the numbers. For the first time this season, he looked in complete control finding the balance between making plays for his teammates and looking for his shot. He created bad defensive matchups with his dribble, making Brooklyn pay every time for switching.

Notice here against Nic Claxton, he sees the mismatch and aggressively attacks the basket on numerous occasions. In the Miami game, it seemed he had lost his confidence and was passing up shots.

Now the question going forward is…

Can these types of performances continue on a consistent basis when everyone comes back to the lineup? In this game, he was the best player on the court and was well on his way to a 40 point night. The only ones that stopped Dennis Schroder were the referees which we will discuss in a little while. Stay tuned.

Speaking of abusing Brooklyn centers, Andre Drummond threw the starting center in a broom closet and made history. Read on to see what Lake Show Life is talking about.
