Andre Drummond had a 300 pound Brook Lopez stomp on his foot and he lost a toenail. Folks he’s injured!

It’s easy to forget Andre Drummond’s first game in the purple and gold uniform (With so many games back to back, it’s hard to remember who the Lakers play next!), but the man did hurt his toe. The same toe that kept him out of the Boston game on Thursday night.

If anyone really thinks that any athlete can come back and perform with an injured toe without a toenail after a 300-pound man stomps on it has never played an athletic event in their lives.

This injury kept Drummond out of the next couple of games and there’s no way that it’s not affecting him now.

If you think toe injuries don’t affect big centers, let’s ask Shaquille O’Neal the effects of how a big toe can keep a player out of the lineup. Way back in 2002 after the Lakers had finished their three-peat, O’Neal had surgery on his big toe and was out 6-8 weeks.

Also, an elbow impingement almost kept Drummond out of the Charlotte game on Tuesday.

Based on what is going out with the injuries going on throughout the roster, it’s getting to the point that Andre just drank from the same water fountain as everyone else and just has to get in line at the trainer’s table.

Lake Show Life warned fans about what the fanbase needed to expect from Andre Drummond.

After the Brooklyn game, it seems everyone forgot! Let’s get a fresh reminder of what is expected of the Lakers big man.
