Frank Vogel pointed out in his in-game interview that Drummond’s activity on the defensive end helped charge his offensive numbers! The Big Penguin (For now! Look for a new nickname soon!) finished with a Laker high 27 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and a block.

Remember those rumored free throw struggles? He hit seven of eight from the charity stripe!

The 3 assists show the adjustments being done not only by Drummond but the coaching staff. His passing out of the post set up open 3 point shots, and the attention allows an extra second for the shooters. That was an underrated factor in the game.
