By Ronald Agers
The Los Angeles Lakers do not have enough talent to compete!
Lake Show Life has never been “politically correct” when it comes to analysis on Lake Show Life Lessons. This is a brutally honest breakdown of the Los Angeles Lakers. This next statement will upset some fans.
The Los Angeles Lakers do not have enough talent to win the NBA title this year. They may not be good enough to make it out of the first round.
Before the Lakers beat the Denver Nuggets, these are statements from players that will tell you how much trouble this team is in.
- Dennis Schroder is on record before LeBron returned stating that the team needed to have a sit down to improve on-court chemistry.
- Anthony Davis stated that the team lost its swagger and sense of urgency.
- LeBron James told the NBA world that he will never be 100 percent again.
Pay attention to all of the networks and internet articles. They all say the same thing. If the Lakers have a healthy LeBron James and Anthony Davis, the Lakers have a chance to repeat. They won’t be healthy so the “others” have to contribute. Listen to this debate from the TNT crew about this subject.
The Los Angeles Lakers do not have enough players that deliver. The Clippers exposed that fact in grand fashion.
- Markieff Morris broke an eight-game streak without a 3-pointer in the second quarter. It was the only shot he made in the game after not making one for two straight games. He finished with 3 points in 21 minutes.
- Kentavious Caldwell-Pope shot 2-6 from the field for six points in 29 minutes. He had a game low plus/minus ratio of -29!
- Ben McLemore shot 3-9 from the field for nine points in 27 minutes.
- Wesley Matthews shot 2-7 from the field for six points.

Besides this embarrassing moment, he looked overwhelmed getting the Lakers into their offensive sets. He finished 3-8 from the field for eight points, seven assists, and three turnovers while being thoroughly outplayed by the Clippers guards. He finished with a plus/minus of -25.
A special shoutout to Montrezl Harrell who flat out did not give up in this game. He scored all 14 of his points in the 4th quarter. Harrell’s activity kept the game from being a total embarrassment. Trez was the only center on the roster that made an impact.
Speaking of centers. Last year, the Lakers outclassed the Clippers in the buyout market. This year, the roles are reversed. The Lakers may have made a huge mistake at the center spot. With each passing game, the error gets more glaring. Read on for this splash of cold water.
