Dennis Schroder led a dominant performance of the Los Angeles Lakers backcourt!
In Game 1, the Phoenix Suns dominated the backcourt matchup. But man in Game 3, the Lakers took advantage of a limited Chris Paul and jumped all over Devin Booker and made him a non factor.
With Kentavious Caldwell-Pope leaving the game with a quad injury, Dennis Schroder took up the slack and dominated the Suns starting backcourt by himself.
While LeBron James and Anthony Davis gashed Phoenix’s interior defense, Schroder took advantage and scored some points of his own.
Schroder played his best playoff game in a Lakers uniform scoring 20 points (6-11 shooting!) with 4 assists, 3 rebounds and 2 steals. He frustrated Booker as he chased him all over the floor challenging every shot and forcing him to turn the ball over. He followed the aggressive tactics of the superstars as well by getting to the line hitting seven of eight.
After Booker got tossed, Jae Crowder started mouthing off at Dennis. Schroder was about to square up before the referee saw what was going on and tossed Crowder out.
Speaking of the fireworks at the end of the game, the last Lake Show Life Lesson is about that. Let’s talk about that!
