Orlando Magic: Michael Carter-Williams

The Orlando Magic do not have many great options but if the price is low enough then it would not hurt the team to add Michael Carter-Williams into the mix. While he definitely should not be a primary option for the Lakers this offseason, he could be a decent backup option to get a second playmaker.

That is all the Lakers would really be getting out of MCW. The team needed a secondary playmaker that could also help create for LeBron James last season and they were really missing that presence. Rajon Rondo was great in the role for the team the previous season.

Dennis Schroder just was not that guy and MCW is someone who can do it in a limited role. He is not someone who is going to give big minutes, but he can be productive in the minutes he is given.

This could be a trade target if the Lakers bring back Schroder or another point guard that is more of a scoring guard rather than a playmaking guard. MCW would come off the bench and his versatility as a combo-guard would be great for depth purposes.

He is far from the best player on this list, but he would be a positive if used correctly.
