Kelly Oubre Jr.

Kelly Oubre Jr. is a very talented player. We saw him really come into his own two years ago in Phoenix. That being said, he seemed to take a step back last season with the Golden State Warriors.

He played fewer minutes last season and scored fewer points as his numbers dipped from 18.6 to 15.4 and that was without Klay Thompson. Oubre Jr. really needs to go to a team where he can either be the number one guy or the number two and that is going to happen with the Lakers in this situation.

I don’t think he could possibly co-exist with LeBron and Davis. He seems more of a shoot-first type of player that needs to be in an offense where there is lots of shooting and scoring a lot of points, unlike the Lakers, who play solid defense.

There was a reason he was shipped out of Phoenix, although they did get Chris Paul out of that deal. He then got shipped out of Oklahoma City to the Warriors.

I wonder if there is a reason other than it was just good business? Either way, he wouldn’t be a good fit in Los Angeles plus he would be looking to get a lot of money. The Los Angeles Lakers should pass.
