2. Reggie Bullock adds great three-point shooting to the Los Angeles Lakers

This is fairly obvious and is the main reason why the Los Angeles Lakers would be interested in Reggie Bullock in the first place. Bullock is a great three-point shooter and would give the Lakers more shooting depth on the wing, which is much needed.

The Lakers have zigged while everyone else has zagged over the last two years and have not built a three-point heavy team. That being said, the team hit three-point shots when they needed to during their NBA Championship run in 2020.

That was not the case in 2021. The Lakers shot 29.9% in the 2021 NBA Playoffs and if we take LeBron’s threes out of the equation the team shot 27.5%. That is absolutely horrendous and it does not matter who your superstars are, that will eventually catch up to you and lose basketball games.

Adding shooting is one of the very important keys to the Los Angeles Lakers reclaiming their throne as NBA Champions.

Adding Bullock does not completely fix the problem but adding several shooters like Bullock will. The Lakers need to add three-point shooting depth and Bullock would be a great start. He shot 41% from beyond the arc last season and overall is a 39.2% shooter from beyond the arc in his career.

His three-point shooting was not as good as the Lakers were hoping for last time he donned the purple and gold but that should not keep them from adding his shooting this go around.
