4. Kyle Lowry

Kyle Lowry is the least likely of the four targets to join the Los Angeles Lakers as it would take Lowry to specifically demand to go to the Lakers and the Raptors to comply and take a sign-and-trade deal.

However, there is reason to believe that it could happen. The Lakers are reportedly one of the top suitors for Lowry this offseason and there is even speculation that the team could try and reunite him with DeMar DeRozan in LA.

Lowry is reportedly looking for a three-year, $90 million contract this offseason and the Lakers could even make it happen without Dennis Schroder involved. A package of Kyle Kuzma, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Montrezl Harrell (he would have to opt-in) is worth $36.7 million. The money matches.

If Harrell does not opt-in the Lakers could theoretically package Kuzma and KCP with the 22nd pick in the draft (after they are selected) and the money would be close.

That is not a great package for Lowry but it is better than letting him walk for free. It also would not be all that surprising to see the team do Lowry a favor considering he is the best player inf franchise history.

That being said, other teams can offer more and Lowry would have to outright demand that he wants to go to the Lakers and the Raptors would have to comply. That is a lot that has to happen for Lowry to be a Laker.
