Danny Green

Another solid all-around player that was part of the Los Angeles Lakers championship team two years ago. Green is a very underrated type of player that not only has many years of experience in the NBA but has been part of three different champion teams during his time in the league. That says a lot about a player.

I sort of look at Green as a Robert Horry type of player. A true journeyman that brings with him various skills such as being a good shooter and defensive player. In this current NBA league, you can never have enough shooters and we all know that defensive players are very rare in this league. So why not go out and get another?

The most important aspect for Green is that he already has been a Laker so therefore he has solid knowledge of the system and of the team.

Cerebral players such as Green are what makes or breaks a team. The league is limited on players like him. He can hit the deep shot in the clutch and help defend opposing teams’ stars. I like the way he worked with the Lakers when he played with them two years ago. Green gelled well within the system showing that he can adjust.
