Lou Williams

How can you not like Lou Williams? He is just one of those players that you grow to respect. A guy who no matter what team he is part of always seems to contribute. It is players like him that I wish they would clone.

At 34 years old and after all his time in the league, Williams can still provide and not just in some small way. He can still come in the game and score when needed. The three-time Sixth Man of the Year deserves to be part of a championship team or at least a team that has the capabilities to do so.

Williams can be counted on to score in double digits and has the ability to be a team’s leading scorer when and if he is called on to be. A player such as he is somewhat underrated. He is a stable talent that shows that he is always on task and bringing his abilities to the next level.

Lou Williams never disappoints the team in which he is playing for. I would think that at this point in his career, he would look to want to be part of a team that is in the driver’s seat. I would love to see the Lakers bring him back.

Williams is reportedly looking for a 2-3 year deal but who knows what can happen in the next few days.
