What Kent Bazemore brings to the Los Angeles Lakers

The final player of the Lakers’ initial signings is Kent Bazemore. Bazemore is another new signing that had a remarkable shooting year last season.

On the Golden State Warriors, he shot 40.8% from deep. He also thrived from the corner last season, shooting 39.2% on corner threes. Bazemore does a great job of knowing and staying in his role. Lakers fans will not have to worry about him trying to take over games and throwing up dumb shots.

He is also a threat on the defensive end. Bazemore averages a steal a game over his career and has a career defensive rating of 107.

Interestingly enough, Bazemore reportedly turned down a larger contract from the Warriors to join the Lakers.

It is clear that he wants to be a part of this team and wants nothing more than to play his part in bringing a championship trophy back to Los Angeles.

This was a very exciting signing that brought yet another former Laker back to the team.

While it is not yet clear just how big of a role Bazemore will play on this Lakers team, he will be ready to do what he needs to do to win when his number is called.
