Los Angeles Lakers: The importance of winning a title for each star

The importance of the Los Angeles Lakers winning a title for LeBron James:

LeBron James is a champion already. He has won titles with three different teams and will go down as one of the greatest players of all time and we all know how much he wants to win and all the hard work he pours in year after year within the game and his own personal body.

This season will be ultra important for him because players with great power have great responsibility and he this is his Laker team. LeBron has taken the role of leader when he got here following in the footsteps of Shaq, Kobe, Magic, Jerry West, etc. So this season, we will see what his role will be like exactly.

I like to think of him as either Lee Marvin in the Dirty Dozen or as Sylvester Stallone in the Expendables. I don’t think we will see him play down at all as he will be at his all time high going hard every night.

After all, he is responsible for a lot of these players coming to play for the Lakers. LeBron reached out and persuaded many of them to come and help get this team another title. That in itself is a huge responsibility as is where the team finishes as well.

Like Jordan was in Chicago, James will be the conductor of this train. That is a tough position to be in and only the great ones can make the train run smoothly.

Winning a title with such a talented team would be another wonderful thing for James in his sports career and show to many that he can coexist with various great and talented players under the same roof.
