3. Langston Galloway

There is a reality in which Garrison Mathews goes for more than the league minimum, taking him out of the picture for the Los Angeles Lakers. Because of the age of the team, if the Lakers want to find a younger shooter they could go after someone such as Langston Galloway instead of someone such as JJ Redick.

Galloway is not super young by any means, turning 30 in December. However, he is theoretically still in his athletic prime and certainly is not as old nor experienced as Redick.

Galloway absolutely is someone who the Lakers could snag for the league minimum and like Mathews, he would simply add another shooting option to the bench. He would not be asked to do much but he is a microwave player that could get hot and swing a game.

If that happens in the playoffs just once then the signing is worth it.

Galloway shot a staggering 42.4% from three last season but only took 2.1 threes per game across 40 games. It may have been a small sample size but he also has the previous year in which he shot 39.9% from beyond the arc in five attempts per game.

Overall, Galloway has shot 40.4% from three over the last two seasons. He is one of 25 players in the league to shoot over 40% from three the last two seasons with a combined 400 attempts.
