1. The Los Angeles Lakers need another big

It is quite overlooked but the Los Angeles Lakers would benefit from adding another big to the roster ahead of the 2021-22 season. That seemingly goes against the narrative of adding shooting around the stars but the team has added that and is somewhat thin in the frontcourt.

Anthony Davis is going to have a big role on this team and Frank Vogel has to make sure he is getting more playing time at the center position. That being said, the team does not have a true second power forward, so Davis might have to play more four in the regular season than he would in the playoffs.

The Lakers have Dwight Howard and Marc Gasol, which is fine on the surface, but they could use an extra body. Gasol is reportedly not a guarantee to return to the Lakers this season, which would just accelerate the need for a second big to replace him.

Even if Gasol returns, the Lakers could benefit from adding the depth in Jordan. He would be a good locker room presence at the very least and would serve as an insurance plan in case Gasol or Howard disappoint.
