1. The Los Angeles Lakers have more starpower

Ninety percent of the time star power is what leads to championships. There are rare occasions where the team with less star power wins a title but when everyone is healthy, the team with more all-stars is likely going to walk away victorious.

While the Bucks have less star power than the Lakers and Nets, they did not play a single team with more star power than them in last year’s playoffs. The Brooklyn Nets were banged up and even though James Harden played, he was 60% of himself. They still barely got past Kevin Durant.

The Atlanta Hawks and Miami Heat do not come close to the starpower that Milwaukee has and while Phoenix had Chris Paul and Devin Booker, the performances of Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday tilted the balance in favor of Milwaukee.

The Bucks would have the best player of either team in a potential Finals matchup but the second, third and fourth best player would belong to the Lakers. Anthony Davis and LeBron James alone are already an absurd duo to have to deal with. Add Russell Westbrook into the mix and that is really hard to stop.

Of course, things could go array with Westbrook and that would level the playing field as the Bucks have Middleton and Holiday. But there are more advantages in favor of the Lakers.
