2. Russell Westbrook

Coming in at number 2 on this list is Mr. Why Not himself Russell Westbrook. Westbrook is coming off averaging a triple-double for the 4th time now. Making history yet again if you don’t believe me just look up his numbers 22 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists per game. That is pretty impressive stuff.

Why Westbrook is so high on this list speaks for itself, Westbrook not only is an excellent playmaker and can get others involved. He is lightning quick on a fastbreak and can push the ball in transition which would result in an easy bucket, whether that be a layup, dunk, or 3-point shot. That is going to be imperative this season.

His rebounding and passing ability alone will be called upon for much of this season, Westbrook also brings a tenacity and toughness to the team, many like to compare it to that of Kobe Bryant and Allen Iverson.

Westbrook is also still in his basketball prime being only 32 years old as crazy as this sounds I still feel we have yet to see the best basketball from Westbrook and that is a scary thought.
