2. Kobe Bryant career PPG (25) vs. LeBron’s 2021-22 PPG

Kobe Bryant is one of the greatest scorers in NBA history and finished his illustrious career by averaging 25 points per game. LeBron James is no scoring slouch, either, and has averaged 27 points per game throughout his NBA career.

However, like Bryant, those scoring numbers have gone down as LeBron’s career has progressed. He has defeated Father Time thus far but the fact of the matter is that he is not the same player he was even four years ago and is going to do less this season in attempts to stay healthy in the playoffs.

When LeBron is full steam ahead he can still drop 40 points and will a team to victory. We have seen previous versions of LeBron, particularly in the second Cleveland stint, do that in the regular season.

Make your pick now on WynnBET.

He is not going to do that on this Lakers team that has Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook. LeBron is likely going to end up playing the fewest minutes per game of his career and will give up some of his scoring to Westbrook and Davis.

Will he fall under 25 is the question. Both Kobe and LeBron have minus odds in this prop bet with Kobe coming in at -115 and LeBron coming in at -105.

To me, this is a no-brainer. Kobe Bryant (-115) is such an easy pick to make. LeBron averaged exactly 25 points per game last year and that average was only as high as it was because Anthony Davis missed time and LeBron had to start carrying the Lakers.

LeBron will still be great but in a lesser role.
