The story from the Los Angeles Lakers’ win:

LeBron lost his mind in the fourth quarter!

To fully describe what LeBron James did to the Houston Rockets offensively in the last quarter, the Lake Show Life staff thought this highlight in the third quarter would suffice.

Bottom line, he wouldn’t let the Lakers lose scoring 16 of his 30 points when the team really needed it. Even when the referees took two points off the scoreboard for wrongful free throws, it didn’t take the man 15 seconds to put them back on the board with a 17-foot jump shot.

Introducing the Los Angeles Lakers starting center…ANTHONY DAVIS!

Much has been said about Anthony Davis playing the center spot this season and the question of his willingness to play the position goes back even further. The staff of Lake Show Life has a message to Anthony Davis…

Get over it. You should start for the rest of the season because it makes perfect sense.

Putting AD in the center spot establishes him early in the paint on both ends. On defense, he can get engaged quicker and the Lakers have done a better job of playing the pick and roll along with defensive rotations. On offense, he is playing more aggressively taking the ball to the rim and not falling in love with the 15-17 foot jump shot.

Dwight Howard was in street clothes during this game. With DeAndre Jordan’s stat line of 8 points (4-5 shooting!) and 9 rebounds in 16 minutes off the bench, he might want to get used to it.
