The bad from the Los Angeles Lakers’ loss:

The Chicago Bulls coaching staff was much more prepared to defend Anthony Davis than the San Antonio Spurs.

Let’s be clear here. Anthony Davis did not struggle in this game and he did not play poorly. The Chicago Bulls were going to make any other Laker besides AD beat them. Man, the Bulls defenders were all over him throwing bodies at him from all different directions.

In the San Antonio game, they allowed him to go one on one with smaller players and Davis destroyed them all before they decided to go with zone defenses or basic double teams. Billy Donovan and the Bulls coaching staff rolled out a small ball lineup and sent decisive and strong double teams.

Man…that DeMar DeRozan dude is balling right now!

Raise your hand if you knew that DeMar DeRozan was one of the top scorers in the NBA? No he really is at sixth. DeRozan absolutely microwaved the Los Angeles Lakers with his mid-range to the tune of 22 points in the first half. Whether he is happy to get out of San Antonio (The writer’s opinion!) or he just loves his current situation (What he will tell you!), this is the best stretch of basketball for DeMar DeRozan since he left Toronto. The Lakers just got burned off his current hot stretch.

DeRozan finished with 38 points (15-23 shooting!), 6 assists and 3 rebounds.

It’s just a shame that the Zach LaVine rumors didn’t come to reality!

No, the Los Angeles Lakers weren’t in any danger of getting this guy no matter what was released in the rumor mill. The Chicago Bulls were never going to let this guy go. He showed why in this game. He was on fire from the outside knocking down five triples in the first half alone. This dude is so smooth on the basketball court and fun to watch. Just watching this game the staff was just wondering how many highlights could a post-game report hold by company rules.

Lavine finished with 26 points (10-22 shooting!), 5 rebounds and 5 assists.

The third quarter…

The staff of Lake Show Life has covered every game the Los Angeles Lakers have played this season. This problem has been well documented and due to the fear of plagiarism and the fact that the readers are tired of bringing it up we will stop analyzing why this team stinks up the place after halftime.

For the record, the Los Angeles Lakers were outscored 37-25.
